Nic Miller named Assistant to EHS Athletic Director

Elizabethton High School is proud to announce that Nic Miller has been named the Assistant to the EHS Athletic Director. Born and raised in Elizabethton, Nic is a 2019 Cyclone alumnus. During his time at EHS, he was a member of the Cyclone Football team and served as a public address announcer for the Betsy baseball team.

After graduating from EHS, Nic attended East Tennessee State University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in communications and sport management in 2022. He is currently pursuing a master’s degree in sport management at ETSU, with an expected graduation date of December 2024. While working toward his master’s, Nic has spent the past two seasons interning with the Elizabethton River Riders in Stadium Operations and Food and Beverage.

Nic expressed his excitement about the new role, stating, “Being from Elizabethton, I have many fond memories from my time at EHS. It’s exciting to have the opportunity to return and work for the school that helped me become who I am today. In high school, I was fortunate to build a relationship with Coach Presnell and work with the Cyclone Baseball team as a PA announcer. Now I get to come back to EHS and work alongside Presnell, so it’s a great opportunity and I’m excited to continue building on the excellent tradition that is Cyclone athletics.”

EHS Athletic Director Ryan Presnell shared his enthusiasm about Nic joining the team: “I couldn’t be more excited to have Nic Miller working alongside me as we continue to build the excellent tradition of Elizabethton Athletics and Cyclone Pride. Nic is a consummate Cyclone and puts pride into everything he does. I know he will work tirelessly to serve our coaches, student-athletes, and the Cyclone athletics community.”

Nic Miller’s dedication and passion for Cyclone athletics make him an excellent addition to the Elizabethton High School Athletic Department. His experience and enthusiasm are sure to contribute positively to the ongoing success and tradition of Cyclone Athletics.
