ROAN MOUNTAIN — Americano Steak House & Wine Bar, 8362 US 19E, has announced its Fourth Annual July Community Cookout from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday.

Donations will be accepted, a release said, and 100 percent will benefit the American Veterans Emergency Response Team.

The cookout, which will be held in the restaurant’s parking lot, will offer free hamburgers, hotdogs, baked crabs, slaw, and cold drinks for the community.
