The Fourth Annual Firefly 5K Run/Walk will be held in downtown Elizabethton Friday, July 5, beginning at 8 p.m.

It will also be First Friday in the downtown and the streets will be filled with music, shopping, dining and lots of fun.

The race starts and finishes by running/walking through the Historic Covered Bridge.

Registration is $35 for adults and $25 for youth. T-Shirts and medals are guaranteed for the first 400 participants.

The Firefly 5K is a pet-friendly walk/run. Friendly dogs on leashes are welcome. Strollers and headphones are also permitted throughout the course. All are invited to participate!

The After Party will take place in Covered Bridge Park, courtesy of Appalachian Sun Brewery and Riverside Taphouse! There will be live music by Gents & Liars plus a beer garden throughout the park. All race participants will receive a complimentary beer garden wristband (alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks available)!
