A number of events have been scheduled for July 4th in the area, among them the Independence Day Fireworks at Freedom Hall Civic Center.

The event will feature live music, food trucks, contests, a fireworks show and more at Freedom Hall Civic Center.

Richlands, Va. native and “The Voice” contestant Noah Spencer will take the stage at 6 p.m. followed by Drew Baldridge at 7:10 p.m.

Country music duo Tigirlily Gold will perform starting at 8:25 p.m. with the fireworks celebration at 10 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
