ECC Baseball and Softball teams head to Braves Country National Championships

Four all-star teams from Elizabethton’s ECC baseball and softball leagues are set to participate in the prestigious Braves Country National Championships this weekend in Atlanta.

Two softball teams and two baseball teams will attend the opening ceremonies on June 28 at Truist Park, where they will enjoy a Braves Legend as a speaker, along with opportunities for pictures and autographs. The teams will also participate in a pre-game on-field parade and announcements.

The Braves Country National Championships is a “win to get in” or invite-only tournament. Teams will receive free Braves jerseys to wear in games, representing their home states.

Games begin Saturday, June 29, and conclude Sunday, June 30.

Softball Schedule for Saturday, June 29:

  • 9 a.m. – ECC 12U All-Stars vs. Perry 12U All-Stars
  • 10:30 a.m. – ECC 12U All-Stars vs. Buford Gold
  • 1 p.m. – ECC 10U All-Stars vs. Raiders
  • 2:30 p.m. – ECC 10U All-Stars vs. Columbia County 10U

Baseball Schedule for Saturday, June 29:

  • 3 p.m. – ECC 8U All-Stars vs. East Lincoln Mustangs
  • 4:30 p.m. – ECC 8U All-Stars vs. Buckhead Braves
  • 10:45 a.m. – ECC 10U All-Stars vs. Clarkdale Eagles
  • 12:30 p.m. – ECC 10U All-Stars vs. D2 10U All-Star Team

Sunday’s game schedules will be announced later.
