The Moonlite Drive-In and the Virginia Highlands Festival are collaborating for what promises to be the blockbuster concert of the summer in Southwest Virginia. Both organizations are celebrating their 75th anniversary this year, and the Moonlite Drive-In is reopening as a multipurpose entertainment venue. The two organizations are inviting the community to be a part of the celebration.

A live concert at the Moonlite is scheduled during a grand opening celebration on Saturday, Aug. 3, from 5 to 10 p.m. The event promises to be one to remember with some famous musical artists performing, including Clint Black, singer, guitarist, and songwriter.

The concert will serve as a fundraiser event for a full restoration of the theater.

The event will feature a field lined with food trucks, merchandise tents, beer gardens, and the best music line-up of the summer.

At the Moonlite concert, Clint Black will celebrate the 25th anniversary of his debut album, Killin’ Time. For the first time ever, he’ll play the groundbreaking record live to finish followed by more of his econdary hits.

Also featured at the concert will be country music artists Lance Stinson and Mason Ramsey.
