JOHNSON CITY – Officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Shawn Nelson, 20, of Johnson City, and charged him with burglary on June 23.

The arrest follows an incident on June 5, when officers responded to a break-in at a house on South Roan Street. During the investigation, Nelson was identified as a suspect, leading to a warrant being issued for his arrest.

Nelson was located in Greene County, where he was arrested on June 23. The Johnson City Police Department took custody of Nelson and transported him to the Washington County Detention Center.
