JOHNSON CITY – Wallace Subaru of Johnson City, in a partnership between Subaru of America and the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society (LLS) recently delivered 80 warming blankets to the Niswonger Children’s Hospital in Johnson City.
The blankets will be given to young patients during their stay at Niswonger for added warmth, love and relief. The soft blue blankets also help give a sense of home to the patients while at Niswonger.
By the end of this year, Subaru and its retailers will have partnered with LLS to support nearly 350,000 patients facing cancer in hospitals and treatment centers since the program began in 2016.
