Johnson City man arrested for domestic aggravated assault

JOHNSON CITY — On June 20, officers of the Johnson City Police Department arrested Daniel Tate, 27, of Johnson City, and charged him with domestic aggravated assault.
At approximately 9:25 p.m. on the above date, officers responded to Pinnacle Drive on a domestic assault call. The victim told police that she and Tate got into an argument, and Tate held a pillow over her face. The victim said she believed Tate was going to kill her.
Officers took Tate into custody at the Pinnacle Drive address and transported him to the Washington County Detention Center.
