Roan Street Free Will
The Rev. Johnny Chastain from Waynesville, N.C., will preach Sunday at Roan Street Free Will Baptist Church at the 11 a.m. service.
Jonathan Sams will preach at the 6 p.m. service.
The pastor, the Rev. Donnie Harris, and the congregation invite the public to attend.
Long Hollow Baptist
Joel Crisp will be the featured artist at the monthly singing at Long Hollow Baptist Church this evening (Saturday) at 5 p.m.
Also featured will be the church singers.
The church is located in Valley Forge. The Rev. Everette Garland is pastor.
The public is invited.
Little Mountain Baptist
Vacation Bible School will be held June 3-7 at Little Mountain Baptist Church. Classes will be held nightly from 6 to 8 p.m.
There will be Bible lessons, crafts, and games each session. Supper will be served at 5 p.m. Monday through Thursday. A cookout will be held Friday at 7 p.m.
The church is located at 170 Little Mountain Road, Roan Mountain.
Doe River Baptist
Doe River Baptist Church will have a resource fair June 12 from 9 a.m. to 12 noon.
Among the featured resource agencies are Fairview Housing, Carter County Compassion Center, and Elizabethton Senior Citizens Center.
The church is located at 113 Avon St.
First Christian
First Christian Church, Elizabethton, has worship at 9:45 a.m. Sunday. There is also Bible study for adults, youth and children Wednesday at 6 p.m.
Vacation Bible School will be held June 10-12 from 6 to 8 p.m.
First Christian also has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box can call the church office at 542-5651 for an appointment.

Borderview Christian
Borderview Christian Church will have Vacation Bible School June 2-6 from 6 to 8:15 p.m.
This year’s theme is “Children of the King.” Classes will explore various royalty shared throughout the Bible, culminating with Jesus, King of Kings. Activities will include worship, royal lessons, crafts, snacks, and games.
There will be classes for children pre-K through fifth grade.
Kathy Thomason is children’s director and Scott Fisher is the senior minister.

Grace Baptist
Grace Baptist Church will have Vacation Bible School June 2-6. Classes will be held from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. each day.
Celebration Night is June 7 at 6:30 p.m.
The theme of the Bible school is The Great Jungle Journey.
Food will be served each evening for children and VBS volunteers.
Grace Baptist is located at 1114 Broad Street.
Willow Springs
Vacation Bible School will be held June 3-7 at Willow Springs Baptist Church. Classes will be held each evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. A meal will be served each day at 6:15 p.m.
The theme of the Bible school is “The Great Jungle Journey” and will include a week of worship and fun.
Family Night will be held June 9.
The Rev. Jacob Howell is serving the church as interim pastor.
Valley Forge Free Will
Vacation Bible School will be held June 3-7 at Valley Forge Free Will Baptist Church with classes from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. Dinner begins at 5:30 p.m. followed by worship, Bible study, crafts, activities, and more.
There will be classes for birth through eighth grade. The theme of the VBS is “Get On Board For The Journey of A Lifetime.”
The church is located at 1502 Riverview Road.
First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church Elizabethton will have both an online and live worship service Sunday, June 2, at 11 a.m.
Rebecca Nunley and Zachary K. Bosco-Ingram will present a sermon titled “The Blessings Go Both Ways” based on Matt. 5: 15-16.
