The 2024 Lakeside Concert Series will feature a lineup showcasing some of the area’s top talent. These annual concerts bring together the community for free family-friendly entertainment in one of Johnson City’s most scenic parks.

“The Lakeside Concert Series is all about community fun, bringing people together to enjoy great music in a warm, welcoming atmosphere by the water,” said Parks and Recreation Community Engagement Manager Tayler Dixon.

The concerts will be held 6:30-8:30 p.m. each Thursday in June at Winged Deer Park’s Goulding Amphitheatre, 199 Carroll Creek Road, Johnson City. The first concert kicks off with the band From the Edge on June 6.

Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or folding chairs for relaxing on the grassy hillsides. The venue offers easy access, free parking, concessions, and a playground.

In addition to music, the series includes a kid zone, food trucks, theme nights, games, giveaways and more.

This year’s concert schedule is as follows:

• Thursday, June 6 — From the Edge
• Thursday, June 13 — Charlie Maples
• Thursday, June 20 — Mixtape 80s Tribute band
• Thursday, June 27 — Nu-Blu
