The Friends of the Elizabethton-Carter County Animal Shelter have announced a low-cost Vaccine Clinic, scheduled for this Saturday, May 11. The event, hosted by the Elizabethton Carter County Animal Shelter, will run from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. at 135 Sycamore Shoals Drive, Elizabethton.
No appointment is required for pet owners wishing to attend the clinic. However, organizers remind attendees that all dogs must be leashed, and cats must be in carriers. Additionally, knowing your pet’s weight is essential for proper treatment.
The following services will be available at the clinic, with corresponding costs:
- Rabies shot: $10
- Dog or Cat Combo shot (Distemper+): $15
- Deworming treatment on site: $5
- Flea topical at-home medications: $10 for one (one-month dose) or $25 for three (three-month dose)
The low-cost Vaccine Clinic aims to provide accessible healthcare options for pets in the community while promoting responsible pet ownership.
