Walter “David” Shaun, 63, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away on Tuesday, April 30, 2024, at the Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center. David was born August 2, 1960 to the late Walter David Shaun Sr. and Billie Jean Peters. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a granddaughter, Maci Miller.

David was very proud of and loved his Native American Heritage! He loved his Harley-Davidson and was proud to be a United States Army veteran. David was of the Christian faith and he enjoyed taking his grandson riding on his Harley and spending time with his family. David was a genuine, caring man that had a great sense of humor and a great love for his family.

Those left to cherish David’s memory include his wife, Debbie Helbert Shaun; his stepdaughter, Becky Blackburn (Nathan Miller); two grandsons, Eli Roberts and Asher Miller; his special friends, Richard Crowe and John Blackburn; his beloved pups, Rupert and Reese; and several cousins, friends and extended family members.
