Amy Russell, 52, was greeted by her Savior Jesus Christ in the early hours of April 13, 2024, and passed into her forever home in Heaven.
Amy is survived by her loving mother, Helen Carder, and her brother, Greg Mann. Also, her devoted husband of 33 years, Thomas Russell; sons, Jordan Blake and Logan McKinley; daughter-in-law, Megan Hodge; and two grandchildren, Ainsley and Colton Russell. She was blessed also to have several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins.
Amy was a devoted wife, mother, mimi, sister and daughter. She also loved the Lord and valued serving Him as a valued member of Southside Free Will Baptist Church of Elizabeththton. She always had the ability to put a smile on your face and more often laughter to help in even the toughest situations. She cared passionately for others and desired to ensure their eternal security in Heaven was secure. She will be greatly missed as she was loved by all, but is in a far better place than we could ever imagine.
There will be a celebration of life service on Saturday, April 27, at 1 p.m. at Southside Free Will Baptist Church of Elizabethton with Pastor Jeremy Burleson conducting the services with fellowship to follow.
