Johnson City Police arrest man in Walmart theft case

Johnson City police arrested Lincoln Paul, 39, of Johnson City on March 16. Paul was charged with theft over $1,000 after officers responded to a theft report at Walmart, located at 3111 Browns Mill Road, at 7:30 a.m. A woman reported leaving her phone at a self-checkout register and discovering it missing upon her return. Store surveillance footage allegedly showed Paul taking the phone. Following the incident, a warrant was issued for Paul’s arrest, leading to his apprehension at his residence. He was subsequently taken to the Washington County Detention Center.
