Elizabethton Police Department reports recent arrests

The following arrests have been reported by the Elizabethton Police Department:

On March 6, Officer Spencer Ward conducted a routine patrol on Bluefield Avenue and observed a gray Honda Pilot with a loud exhaust. He initiated a traffic stop at Lynnwood Apartments and found the driver, identified as Dakota Gene Wyatt, operating with a suspended license. Wyatt was charged with driving on suspended (second offense) and loud muffler.

On March 6, Cpl. Eric Norman responded to Elizabethton Ford regarding a trespasser, Matthew J. Lacus, who had been disorderly after being trespassed on March 4. Lacus was arrested for criminal trespassing.

On March 5, Officer Rocky Croy observed Jonathon Michael Cook dancing on the side of North Lynn and Broad Street while intoxicated. Cook was arrested for public intoxication.

On March 5, Officer Spencer Ward responded to a welfare check at Wal-Mart’s parking lot and found Glen Lewis Payne asleep behind the wheel with marijuana paraphernalia. Payne was charged with simple possession of Schedule VI and drug paraphernalia.

On March 5, Officer Rocky Croy investigated an assault involving Timothy Guinn and Devin Hamby at Exxon on Broad Street. Wyatt Noah Crosby, allegedly intoxicated, was arrested for public intoxication.
