Recovery Resources will celebrate the ribbon cutting and open house of its new recovery living home on Wednesday, March 6, at 3 p.m. Located at 1219 Hillside Drive in Elizabethton, this marks the organization’s inaugural home in Carter County.
Tabitha Edwards, M.Ed., Executive Director of Recovery Resources TN and a Carter County native, expressed enthusiasm about the expansion: “We are excited to bring our recovery living program to Carter County. As a resident and co-founder of Recovery Resources, I understand the critical need for a safe and stable environment for individuals recovering from substance abuse. Our program’s presence in the county enables residents to recover locally and contribute to the restoration of our community.”
Recovery Resources, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, collaborates with Caring Workplaces to ensure residents not only recover but also integrate as productive, tax-paying citizens. Edwards extended gratitude to the citizens, organizations, and local government for their support.
Joy McCray, Executive Director of the Elizabethton/Carter County Chamber of Commerce, commended Recovery Resources’ contribution to the community’s battle against addiction, saying, “We are fortunate to have Recovery Resources working with our community on their journey to freedom from addiction.”
