Patrica Ann Bishop, 77, of Johnson City, went home to be with the Lord on Sunday, March 3, 2024, at Hillview Health Center.

A native of Carter County, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Virginia McAmis. Pat was a retired Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) from Johnson City Specialty Hospital, where she shared her compassion for caring for others. Pat was a member of Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church.

Survivors include her husband, Robert B. Bishop, of 54 years; daughter, Rachel Hunter and her husband John; two sons, Matthew Bishop and his wife Tiffany and Nathan Bishop and his wife Donna; three grandchildren, Aja Bishop, Savannah Bishop and Kyleigh Bishop; two great-grandchildren, Matthias and Kiara; two sisters, Nadine Davis and Deborah Steele; and three brothers, Sammy McAmis, Blaine McAmis and Ronnie McAmis.

The family of Pat Bishop will receive friends from 10 a.m. until noon Thursday, March 7, at Tetrick Funeral Services, Johnson City. The funeral service will follow at noon with Pastor John Herdman, from Buffalo Ridge Baptist Church, officiating. The graveside committal service will follow at 2 p.m. at Roselawn Memorial Park.
