FROM STAFF REPORTS
Johnson City Fire Department proudly announces the achievement of Driver/Engineer Jeff Story, who has attained Managing Officer (MO) status through the Federal Emergency Management Agency’s United States Fire Administration/National Fire Academy. Story completed the program in January, undergoing rigorous training in leadership, community risk reduction, and incident management.
The MO program spans two years and comprises four specialized courses. Story’s dedication culminated in a capstone project focusing on community risk reduction, resulting in the development of a fire safety education program for implementation by the Johnson City Fire Department. Chief David Bell commends Story’s commitment to professional development and service to the community. Story is the third member of the Johnson City Fire Department to achieve MO status.
