Elizabethton Police Department reports recent arrests

The following arrests have been reported by the Elizabethton Police Department:
- February 7:
- Officer Spencer Ward observed a male subject walking through the Food City parking lot, showing signs of intoxication. Michael Joe Woodby was found to be highly intoxicated and was arrested for public intoxication. He was transported to the CCSO without incident.
- February 5:
- Officer Hayden Holtsclaw responded to West Elk Avenue regarding a male subject under the influence of an intoxicant. Matthew Scott Aguilar was arrested for public intoxication due to erratic behavior and poor performance on sobriety tests. He was transported without incident.
- Cpl. Tim Garland responded to a disorderly male subject at 107 Broad Street (Hardees). Michael Wayne Ledford, banned from the property, was arrested for public intoxication. He was transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
- February 2:
- Officer Hayden Holtsclaw was dispatched to Walmart in reference to an unwanted guest. Kenneth Wayne Loveless, previously trespassed, was arrested for criminal trespass and transported to jail without incident.
- Officer Spencer Ward responded to Exxon on Broad Street regarding a suspicious person. Michael Joe Woodby was arrested for public intoxication. He was transported to the CCSO without incident.
- February 1:
- Captain Buck observed Julie Beth Storie, who had a warrant for failure to appear, at Walgreens. Officer Spencer Ward arrested her and transported her to the CCSO without incident.
- January 31:
- Officer Samuel Woodby responded to a stolen license plate alert at Sunoco on Milligan Highway. Darroll C. Davis was arrested for possession of methamphetamine and possession of stolen property. He was transported to the Carter County Sheriff’s Office without further incident.
- January 29:
- Officer Hayden Holtsclaw responded to Walmart for an unwanted/trespassed guest, Kenneth Wayne Loveless, who was cited for criminal trespass and issued notification forms.
- January 27:
- Officer Spencer Ward arrested Jonathan Michael Cook for public intoxication at Walnut Street and West Mill Street. Cook was transported to the CCSO without incident.
- Officer Franklin Peters responded to a possibly intoxicated male subject, Bradley Keith Price, on Milligan Highway. Price was arrested for public intoxication and transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
- January 25:
- Officer Spencer Ward arrested Zachary Bo Taylor for driving on suspended (first), expired registration, and failure to have two headlights. Taylor was issued summonses and a court date.
- January 25:
- Watch Commander Anthony Buck arrested Joy M. Benfield for speeding and driving on a suspended license. Benfield was cited and given a court date.
- Cpl. Jason Mosier, Officer Matt Scott, and Cpl. Eric Norman arrested Rashad Draquan Reisler for criminal impersonation and outstanding warrants. Reisler was transported to the Carter County Detention Center without incident.
- January 22:
- Officer Nicholas Kerns arrested Helen M. Aldrich for driving under the influence (first offense) and drug paraphernalia. Aldrich was transported and processed accordingly.
Note: All arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
