The following arrests have been reported by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office:
On January 4, Deputy Robbie Huskins responded to Creek Bank Road for a warrant service and arrested Chadwick Lee Rambo for failure to appear.
On January 4, Deputy Dalton McCloud and Elizabethton Police apprehended Ira Dewayne Norton, wanted by the U.S. Marshal, for assault. Norton faces additional charges, including drug possession.
On January 3, Deputy Cory Locklear located Sidney C. Byers at Valero Gas Station and arrested him for multiple warrants, including felony evading arrest.
On January 2, Deputy Kevin Kemp took Charles Andrew Arwood into custody at the Monroe County Sheriff’s Department for a violation of probation.
On January 1, Deputies McCloud and Lt. Reichenbach responded to Hilton Hill Road for a welfare check on Chad Landon Race, leading to his arrest for non-emergency 911 calls.
On December 31, Deputy Zachary Whaley arrested Alexis Keyanna Shipley at Sinking Creek Baptist Church for a violation of probation warrant.
On December 30, Deputy Whaley apprehended Melissa Kay Bowman on Hidden Oaks Drive for a violation of probation warrant.
On December 30, Deputy Thomas Hill responded to Hollow Road for a domestic disturbance and arrested Kara Michelle Austin for domestic assault.
On December 30, Deputy Whaley took Christopher Shannon Watson into custody at Sinking Creek Baptist Church for a violation of probation.
On December 29, Deputy Jared Shelton responded to Townson Road for domestic assault and charged Jonathan A. Pope with domestic assault.
On December 29, Deputy Whaley arrested Jennifer Renee Slagle-Nickles at 2371 Elizabethton Hwy. for criminal trespass.
On December 29, Sgt. Tyler Holsclaw responded to Chestnut Lane for backup and arrested Leah Vines Anderson for public intoxication, criminal trespassing, and drug possession.
On December 29, Deputy Trembley, D. Taylor, and Sgt. Peters responded to Old Watauga Road for a domestic situation and arrested Jason Conrad Hodges for outstanding warrants.
On December 29, Deputy Tremblay responded to 236 Old Watauga Road for a 911 hang-up and arrested Jason Conrad Hodges for aggravated domestic assault and child endangerment.
On December 29, Deputy Cory Locklear responded to Buck Mountain Road and arrested Mersadys Alyssa Hall for public intoxication and criminal impersonation.
The following arrests have been reported by the Elizabethton Police Department:
On January 10, Officer Hayden Holtsclaw responded to an incident at Taco Bell, 993 West Elk Ave. The manager reported an unwanted guest, Crystal Lavonna Burrell, locked in the bathroom for over an hour. Burrell exhibited erratic behavior, claiming to have consumed meth-laced marijuana. Following standardized field sobriety tests, Burrell was arrested for public intoxication and transported to jail.
On January 9, Cpl. Tim Garland responded to a disorderly conduct incident at Walgreens, 214 Broad St. Donna M. Roark, claiming to be the Holy Spirit, disrupted the establishment, leading to her arrest for disorderly conduct. Despite officer commands, Roark refused to vacate the premises and was transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
On January 5, Cpl. Jason Mosier observed a vehicle with a malfunctioning headlight. The driver, Casey Wade Hayden, had a suspended TN driver’s license. Hayden received citations for driving while suspended and lights required on motor vehicle, with a court date set for February 5.
On January 5, Officer Hayden Holtsclaw responded to a report of an intoxicated male on foot. Justin Lewis Garland, found near West Side Storage Units, exhibited signs of intoxication. Garland admitted to recent drug use and performed standardized field sobriety tests, resulting in his arrest for public intoxication.
On January 4, Sgt. Douglas Combs and officers investigated a collision at West G Street and Williams Avenue. Bradley Adam Ashby, an unlicensed driver, received a criminal summons for no driver’s license and financial responsibility. He was given a court date of January 24 and transported to Sycamore Shoals Hospital.
On January 3, Officer Callie Peters responded to a warrant service at TDOC Probation and Parole Office, 419 West Elk Ave. Wendell Dean Poore Jr. was detained for a parole violation warrant and transported to the Carter County Detention Center.
