Stephanie Ann Vannoy Scalf, 60, Elizabethton, passed away Friday, January 12, 2024, at the University of Tennessee Medical Center. She was born March 25, 1963 in Johnson City to the late John William Vannoy Jr. and Grace Elizabeth Dean Vannoy.
Stephanie was formerly employed in the Environmental Services at Asbury Center. She was of the Baptist Faith.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Kyle William Vannoy.
Survivors include her husband, Scotty Scalf; two sons, Jerry (Mary) James and Jeremy Hall; her twin brother, Steven Brian (Beverly) Vannoy; and two sisters, Marilyn V. Brown and Carol Lynn (Darrell) Adams. Six grandchildren, one niece and several nephews also survive.
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Wednesday, January 24, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Mr. Tim Gouge officiating. Music will be by Teresa Range. The graveside service and Interment will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 25, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family would like to express a special thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at the University of Tennessee Medical Center Neuro Critical Care. The family will receive friends from 5 to 7 p.m. Wednesday, prior to the service. Family and friends will assemble at the funeral home at 12:20 p.m. Thursday to go in procession to the cemetery.
