Elizabethton Police report multiple arrests

The following arrests have been reported by the Elizabethton Police Department:
On Jan. 2, Officer Spencer Ward was alerted by the Flock Camera System of a 2010 Honda CRV traveling east on West Elk Ave. Active felony warrants for registered owner Scott A. Bunker prompted observation. Ward, along with Patrolman Croy, located the vehicle at Stateline Market. Bunker, matching the suspect’s description, was pumping gas. Upon inquiry and ID verification, Ward confirmed Bunker’s identity and warrants. Washington County’s confirmed warrant for aggravated assault led to Bunker’s arrest, who was turned over to Johnson City Police.
On Jan. 1, Officer Hayden Holtsclaw responded to a welfare check at Alf Taylor Road and Okolona Road, finding Rachel L. Jobson seated, intoxicated, and disoriented. Jobson was arrested for public intoxication and scheduled for a court date in Carter County General Sessions.
On Jan. 1, Officer Spencer Ward detained Michael Wayne Ledford due to an outstanding arrest warrant for violation of probation, confirmed by Patrolman Croy. Ledford was transported to CCSO for warrant service.
On Jan. 1, Captain Matt Croy conducted a traffic stop on Megan Dakota Burleson for erratic driving. Field sobriety tests led to Burleson’s arrest for DUI and other traffic violations. She consented to a blood draw, was processed, and scheduled for a court appearance.
On Jan. 1, Officer Ryan Manuel stopped Gunner Brendan Shepard for speeding and discovered a suspended license, leading to a citation for driving on suspended license (fourth offense) and speeding +20 over.
On Jan. 1, Officer Ryan Manuel issued Jayme Lee Taylor a summons for driving while license canceled (first offense) and headlight violation due to a suspended Tennessee license and faulty lights.
On Dec. 30, 2023, Officer Ryan Manuel arrested Alan C. Lewis for public intoxication after observing unsteadiness and slurred speech during a suspicious person check.
On Dec. 30, 2023, Officer Hayden Holtsclaw apprehended Landon Douglas Honeycutt due to an active arrest warrant, transported him to jail, and issued citations for speeding and expired registration.
On Dec. 30, 2023, Officer Matthew Goldberg responded to a crash, arresting Mathew D. Miller for DUI after noting signs of intoxication and admitting to drinking prior to the accident.
On Dec. 29, 2023, Officer Hayden Holtsclaw cited Todd N. Elliott for driving with a suspended license, inoperable tail lights, and lack of insurance.
On Dec. 29, 2023, Cpl. Tim Garland arrested Karen Faye Smith for public intoxication after disruptive behavior linked to intoxication.
On Dec. 29, 2023, Officer Erin Potter arrested Angel Gomez for shoplifting, issuing a criminal summons on behalf of Food City for stealing lottery tickets.
