Everly Ann Clark was the first baby born at Watauga Medical Center in Boone, N.C. She was welcomed to the world by parents, Luke and Brooke Clark of Roan Mountain. She arrived at 1:19 a.m. on Jan. 1, and weighed 5 pounds and 1 ounce and measured 16 inches in length.
