Margaret Deloris Miller, age 75, of Butler, TN, passed away Thursday, December 14, 2023, at Johnson City Medical Center. She was the daughter of the late Charlie and Helen Turner.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sons, David Miller and Winston Ritchie; two sisters, Pauline Williams and Jean Mink; three brothers, Johnny Turner, Eddie Turner and Richard Turner and her granddaughter, Miranda Ritchie.
Margaret loved life and loved spoiling her babies and grandbabies. She enjoyed fishing, going to auctions, working word puzzles, watching Law and Order reruns, and going ginseng hunting in her younger days.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Larry Miller; children, Angel Lowe, Cheryl (Miguel) Reyes, Raymond (Vickie) Turner, Herbie Ritchie (Leona Pierce); grandchildren, Megan (Luis) Ramirez, Aaron Lowe, Cotey Lowe, Sebastian (Cali), Mario, Isabella Reyes, Devin Ritchie and Roman Ritchie; great-grandkids, Javier, Keyana “peanut,” Angel “Pie” and Conner Estep Markland, Gunner Tolley and other great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Jay P. Miller and several other family members.
A service to celebrate the life of Margaret will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 18, 2023, at Tetrick Funeral Home, Elizabethton. The family will receive friends between the hours of 12:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. prior to the service on Monday.
The graveside service and interment will follow in the Green Hollow Family Cemetery, Butler, TN. Pallbearers will be Margaret’s grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
The family would like to give a special thanks to all the nurses and staff on the 2300 floor at Johnson City Medical Center for all their loving care and support during this difficult time.
