Among the upcoming events sponsored wholly or in part by the Elizabethton-Carter County Library include Qigong Tuesday, Dec. 19, from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m.in the lobby outside of Glow Herbal. Those attending are asked to wear comfortable clothing.
Glow Herbal is located in the Ritz Building at 527 E. Elk Ave., Ste. 1.
Teen Tuesday will be at 4:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Elizabethton-Carter County Public Library, Chair Yoga will be held from 1 to 2 p.m. at the library. The low impact chair yoga can improve flexibility, help you grow strong, and contribute to better sleep and much more.
Also, on Wednesday from 6 to 7 p.m., the Families Raising Families Support Program will meet at the Elizabethton Parks & Recreation, 300 W. Mill St.
If you are a relative or grandparent raising children, you are invited to join the group in a confidential space to share experiences, feelings, and needed resources. There will be activities for the children and light snacks will be provided.
Teen Tuesday will be held Dec. 23 and 26 from 3:45 to 4:45 p.m. at the Elizabethton-Carter County Public Library.
