First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have both an online and live worship service Sunday at 11 a.m.
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will present the sermon “Prayers of Old People” based on Luke 1: 5-13, 57-80 and Psalms 113.
Meditation is Wednesday at 7 p.m., and Adult Forum at 9:30 a.m.
The church is located at 119 West F St.
New Liberty Free Will
New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church will continue its month-long celebration of Christ’s birth Sunday with the New Liberty Kings presenting a Christmas program during the morning worship service at 11 a.m. The program will be preceded with special singing by Wes and Mandy Greer.
The teens will present the play, “The Good News Flash,” directed by Kim Duncan at the evening worship service at 6 p.m.
The pastor, the Rev. Wesley Duncan, invites everyone to join the congregation for the Christmas celebration.
The church is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.
CCCMF meeting
The Carter County Christian Men’s Fellowship will meet Tuesday, Dec. 20, at 7 p.m. at the Carter Christian Church, Stoney Creek.
Scott Fisher, minister at Borderview Christian Church, will be the guest speaker.
All are invited.
First Christian
First Christian Church will have a worship service at 9:45 a.m. Sunday and Bible study Wednesday at 6 p.m. During December there are special events as well as fun events planned for both services.
First Christian also has a food pantry. Persons needing a food box can call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.

Borderview Christian
Borderview Christian Church will host a piano concert by Scott Reynolds, pianist, Sunday at 6 p.m.
The program “Music of the Holy Night” will feature Christmas carols in various styles and will be presented with video enhancement.
Scott is a local musician with a long history of playing piano in worship service and at community functions. He has been involved in the music ministry at Borderview for 60 years.
The public is invited to attend the one-hour concert.
Scott Fisher is the church’s minister.
Grace Baptist
A combined worship service will be held at 10 a.m. Christmas Eve at Grace Baptist Church, 114 Broad Street Ext.
A candlelight service will be held at 5 p.m. at the church.
The Rev. Travis Tyler is pastor.
Union Baptist
Union Baptist Church will present the Christmas comedy “Christmas in Juneberry” based on the Andy Griffith Show, Sunday, Dec. 17, at 6 p.m.
The public is invited to join the congregation and go back to a simpler time and the true meaning of Christmas.
The Rev. James Bentley is pastor.
First United Methodist
First United Methodist Church will have a joint cantata with First Baptist Church Sunday at 6 p.m. at First Baptist Church.
The congregation will also have a Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m. Dec. 24 at the church.
Everyone is invited.
First Free Will Baptist
The Adult Choir of Elizabethton First Free Will Baptist Church under the direction of Grady Holder will present a cantata Sunday at the 11 a.m. service.
A candlelight service will be held Wednesday, Dec. 20, at 6:30 p.m.
The public is invited.
