Carter County Sheriff’s Office reports series of arrests

The following arrests have been reported by the Carter County Sheriff’s Office:
On December 4, Deputies responded to a disturbance at the Carter County Sheriff’s Office involving Robert Cody Bullwinkel, who attempted to commandeer a patrol vehicle, resisting arrest. He was charged with resisting stop/arrest and auto theft.
On December 3, Deputy Dalton McCloud arrested Kent Logan Stevens at Redimart for failure to appear. Deputy Zachary Whaley facilitated an inmate exchange and arrested Tara H. Honeycutt for public intoxication.
On December 2, Deputy Storm Scalf arrested John R. Moore for aggravated assault and convicted felon in possession of a handgun after an altercation involving a handgun. Sheriff Tyler Holsclaw responded to a call from Sarah Renee Rodifer, resulting in her arrest for violation of an order of protection and misuse of 911.
On November 30, several arrests were made: Kevin Randall Brown for violation of Community Corrections; David Mark Markland for violation of probation; Michael Keith Davidson for DUI and related charges; William Lance Thompson for violation of an order of protection or restraining order.
On November 29-27, arrests included Charles Wilkie Campbell Jr. and Christopher E. Thomas for active warrants; Cheryl Renee Forman for probation violations; Stephanie Faye Taylor and Geraldine Virginia Whitaker for violation of probation. Additionally, Stormy Simerly was charged with public Intoxication due to suspected methamphetamine use.
Note: All arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
