Lois Jeanette White, 81, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, December 3, 2023, at NHC Health Care, Johnson City. She was born May 6, 1942 in Bluff City, Tenn., to the late Lynn and Virginia Pearl Buckles Harmon.
Lois was a retired cook. She loved flowers, birds and gardening. She was a member of First Christian Church of Elizabethton.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandson, Matthew Ledford, and two brothers, James Harmon and Lynn Junior Harmon.
Survivors include her children, Linda Johnson and husband Greg, Rebecca Ledford and husband Lonnie, Shields Graham and wife Connie and Carolyn Garland and Noel; 11 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Earlene Strouth and Linda Chatman; several nieces and nephews; and a special friend, James Kent.
A memorial service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Thursday, December 7, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Michael Klaus officiating.
