First Presbyterian
First Presbyterian Church, Elizabethton, will have both an online and live worship service Sunday, Dec. 3, at 11 a.m.
The pastor, the Rev. Dr. Brian Wyatt, will deliver a sermon titled “What Time Is It?” based on Isa. 40: 1-11 and Jeremiah 8.
Meditation is Wednesday at 7 p.m. and Adult Forum is at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
First Presbyterian is located at 119 West F St.

First Christian
First Christian has worship Sunday at 9:45 a.m. and at 6 p.m. Wednesday.
During the month of December, several special and fun events have been planned.
This Sunday will feature the Hanging of the Greens service, a special Christmas service.
First Christian has a food pantry and persons who need a food box are asked to call the church office at 542-5651 to make an appointment.

New Liberty Free Will
New Liberty Free Will Baptist Church will kick off a month-long celebration of Christ’s birth beginning this Sunday with Vickie and Kenny Greer providing Christmas music at the 11 a.m. worship service.
The Allen Shepherd family will provide Christmas music at the Sunday evening service at 6 o’clock.
The public is invited to attend and enjoy the songs of the Christmas season.
New Liberty Free Will is located at 113 Peters Hollow Road near the Stoney Creek Volunteer Fire Dept.
The pastor, the Rev. Wesley Duncan, invites the public to attend.

Doe River Baptist
Doe River Baptist Church will have its Christmas Market Saturday, Dec. 9, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the church, located at 113 Avon Ave.
Persons interested in being a vendor can contact Ashley Lyons at ashleybailey93@aol.com by Dec. 2.

First Methodist
The Hanging of the Greens will be celebrated Sunday, Dec. 3, in a service at 6 p.m. at First United Methodist Church.
Also, a Christmas music recital featuring David Arney and Susan Heaton will be held at 7 p.m. Friday, Dec. 8, in the church sanctuary.
Other Christmas events include a joint cantata with First Baptist Church on Dec. 17 at 6 p.m. at First Baptist, and a Christmas Eve service at 5 p.m. Dec. 24 at the church.

Willow Springs Baptist
The Adult Choir will present the cantata “Oh Come Worship the King” Sunday, Dec. 10, at Willow Springs Baptist Church. The cantata will be presented at 10 a.m.
Also, that evening at 6 o’clock, the children will have their program.
Wednesday evening, Dec. 13, Sacred Harmony will present Christmas music at 7 p.m.
Everyone is invited.
Jacob Howell is serving the church as interim pastor.
