David Phelps brings ‘It Must Be Christmas’ to NPAC

GREENEVILLE – What better way to celebrate the spirit of the season than enjoying the music of award-winning artist, David Phelps. The public is invited to join in the holiday cheer at the Niswonger Performing Arts Center at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Dec. 17.
Phelp’s musical journey has transformed him into a nationally acclaimed vocalist, with unmatched gifts and talents. Best recognized as the impressive tenor for the Grammy® and Dove Award-winning Gaither Vocal Band, Phelps continues to expand on a groundbreaking career. Emerging as a prominent figure in contemporary Christian music, he has been captivating audiences worldwide for over two decades. His performances at esteemed venues such as the White House, Carnegie Hall in New York, and the Sydney Opera House in Australia highlight the global reach of his electrifying voice.
His performance at NPAC will showcase many songs from his “It Must Be Christmas” recording during this festive evening. The repertoire includes thrilling renditions of timeless classics like “Angels We Have Heard On High,” “Go Tell It On The Mountain,” and “Sleigh Bells,” as well as Phelps’ new holiday gems like “Fall On Your Knees,” “Christmas Rush,” and “Anthem of the Lord.”
