 Sylvia Guy Garland,  59, Elizabethton, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023, at her residence.  A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Lonnie & JoAnn Buckles Guy.  She was a homemaker.  Sylvia loved gardening and loved animals.

 Survivors include her husband of 43 years, Richard Garland.  Two sons: John Garland & wife Lisa and Joseph Garland & wife Jeanne.  One granddaughter: Gloria Garland.  Four brothers: Bobby, Jeff, Mike and Gary Guy.  Her dogs, Mia and Blue.

  A Memorial Service will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, November 20, 2023, in Memorial Funeral Chapel with Pastor Jerry Davis officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Monday in the funeral home.  Condolences may be sent to the family at our website, www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
