JOHNSON CITY – John W. Wilson, age 86, passed away at home on November 16, 2023, after a long battle with cancer.

He worked as a heating and air conditioner service tech. He worked at Coca-Cola, S.B. White Co. and retired from Mountain Home V.A. after 22 years.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Marie V. Wilson; daughter, Lisa Wilson Peters; grandson, Jonathan Peters (Brekken Renee Quintana); great-granddaughter, Shiloh Rain Peters; a niece and nephews.

He was the son of the late Estill and Sallie Wilson. He was a faithful member of Pinecrest Baptist Church.

A visitation will be held from 4:00 – 5:00 p.m. on Friday, November 24, at Pinecrest Baptist Church. A celebration of life will be held at 5:00 p.m. with Rev. Gary Edwards officiating.
