Johnson City Police Department reports multiple arrests in various incidents

The Johnson City Police Department has made several arrests in various incidents, leading to the detention of the following individuals:
On October 16, at 1:57 p.m., officers arrested Stephen C. Conner, 31, Johnson City, on charges of burglary. Conner was apprehended following an investigation into the break-in of three vacuum machines at Mark’s Car Wash on April 28. A warrant was obtained, and Conner was located on October 16. He is currently held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $5,000 bond.
On October 18, officers arrested Melinda S. Gilbert, Butler, on charges of burglary and theft of property under $1,000. Gilbert was apprehended at Walmart on Browns Mill Road after shoplifting merchandise valued at $694 and violating a previous ban imposed by the store. She is currently held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $1,500 bond.
On October 19, Christopher Jones, Jonesborough, was arrested for attempted second-degree murder, possession of a firearm during a dangerous felony, and reckless endangerment with a firearm. This arrest is related to a shooting incident at Roadrunner Market on July 29. Jones was served with the warrant while in the Washington County Detention Center.
On October 20, Coty Arnold, Knoxville, was taken into custody by the Tennessee Highway Patrol for his involvement in two recent bank robberies in Johnson City. He was subsequently charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, theft over $2,500, and theft over $1,000. Arnold was booked into the Washington County Detention Center.
On October 25, Corey Luchie, 19, Detroit, Mich., was arrested as a fugitive from justice. Detroit investigators had issued a warrant for Luchie for assault with intent to commit murder with full extradition. He was apprehended in Johnson City and is being held at the Washington County Detention Center, pending extradition to Detroit.
On October 24, Gabriel Bryant Powell, 24, Johnson City, was arrested on charges of child abuse or neglect after an investigation into a one-year-old child found wandering unsupervised. Powell is currently held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $15,000 bond.
On October 30, officers arrested Weston Scott Earnest, Tamassee Drive, Johnson City, on charges of aggravated assault (domestic) and violation of an order of protection. Earnest was taken into custody following a domestic disturbance call and is currently held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $2,500 bond.
On November 2, George Bray, Tina Bray, and a juvenile suspect were arrested on charges related to a shooting at Scotchman Market. George Bray faces charges of attempted second-degree murder, aggravated assault, and three counts of reckless endangerment, while Tina Bray is charged with accessory after the fact. George Bray is held on a $100,000 bond, and Tina Bray is held on a $5,000 bond.
Note: All arrestees are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
