Patricia Jean Frost Fenner, 81, of Elizabethton, Tenn., went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Ivy Hall Nursing Center of Elizabethton. Patricia was born in Elizabethton to the late Samuel Allen Frost and Sarah Evelyn Frances (Cross) Frost. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Robert Fenner.
Patricia was a wonderful sister and aunt with a beautiful smile. She was a genuine and loving lady who would do anything for anyone. Patricia had a sharp mind and an amazing memory. She retired from the Carter County Highway Department after 41 years of loyal and faithful service and was of the Baptist faith. Patricia held a special place in her heart for her nephew, Ricky. She and her late husband enjoyed traveling, especially to Daytona, Fla., where many wonderful memories were made!
Those left to cherish Patricia’s memory include her brother, Allen Frost and wife Brenda; her nephews, Richard “Ricky” Samuel Allen Frost and wife Rachel and Patrick Frost; and her great-nieces and nephew, Rhyssa, Raegan, Lexah, Leah and Kolton Frost.
The family will receive friends from noon until 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 28, in the Chapel of Peace at Tetrick Funeral Home of Elizabethton. A celebration of Patricia’s life will follow with Pastor Jim “Butch” Stout officiating. The graveside service will follow at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Active pallbearers will be selected from family and friends.
