JOHNSON CITY – A portion of West Watauga Avenue in Johnson City will be temporarily closed on Monday, Oct. 9, for utility work conducted by Atmos Energy. The affected area stretches from West State of Franklin Road to West Walnut Street.
During the closure, emergency vehicles will not have access to the closed section, and drivers are advised to seek alternate routes to avoid potential delays. For those who must traverse the area, it is important to exercise caution within the construction zone and adhere to posted speed limits to ensure safety for all, including the workers involved in the project.
