The Elizabethton Alliance Church, located downtown in Elizabethton, will host a prayer conference this weekend – October 6-9.
“With the present conditions in our nation, our congregation has come to the conclusion that one thing we must do is pray. To help us in that endeavor, we have decided to do the prayer conference,” said Larry Vaughan, a member of the church.
There will be five stand-alone sessions led by Art Nuremberg, Pastoral Director of the Evangelical Institute School of Biblical Training in Greenville, S.C. He is also the author of the book, “Jesus on Prayer.”
The schedule is as follows:
Session 1 – Friday, Oct. 6, 7 to 7:45 p.m.
Session 2 – Saturday, Oct. 7, 7 to 9:45 a.m.
Break (15 minutes)
Session 3 – Saturday, Oct. 7, 10 to 10:45 a.m.
Session 4 – Sunday, Oct. 8, 9:15 to 10:15 a.m.
The public is invited to participate.
