Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

Jackie Wiseman, Elizabethton, our beautiful songbird, gained her angel wings on September 22, 2023. She is in the arms of her Saviour, the day she has prepared for all her life. She is now singing in Heaven with her beloved friend, Ricky Burchette, and brother-in-law, Buddy Wiseman. She is breathing with a new set of lungs and struggling no longer. She has joined her special friends, Charlotte Pruitt and Carolyn Bunton.
A wonderful wife and mother. Her grandchildren were the joy of her life on this earth.
She was the founding member of the southern gospel group Sounds Of Victory. Jackie has traveled and spread God’s word for many years. She has touched countless lives and has always been a blessing everywhere she has gone. A humble soul, she was never boastful or prideful and always put others before herself. She had never met a stranger and showed love and compassion to everyone.

This earth was certainly a better place because she existed. The great loss that will be felt on earth cannot compare to the great celebration there will be in Heaven.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Stacy and Lillian Turnmire Hicks; brother, Bill Anderson; and brother-in-law, Buddy Wiseman.

Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Howell Wiseman; a daughter, Jennifer Earp and Scotty; bonus daughters, Frances Miller and Teddy and Wanda Hunter; grandchildren, Amber Earp, Autumn Earp, Madi Babb and Justin; great-grandchildren, Effiemae Babb and Grayson Babb; her mama that raised her, Frankie Flannery; sisters, Vivian Saults and Bobby, Judy Crisp and Joel, Glenda Pounds, and Amanda Perry and Travis; special sister-in-law, Lenora Wiseman; brothers, Earnest Hicks and Goldie, Chris Flannery and Naomi; special friends, Reva Tittle and Jennie Crowe; so many friends near and far that are too great in number to mention, they all know who they are; her cats, Miss Ceeley and Blacky; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday, September 30, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Everett Garland officiating. Interment will follow in the Stines Cemetery, Butler. Music will be provided by Joel Crisp. Active pallbearers will be Ronnie Kent, JR Bunton, Justin Babb, Scotty Earp, Ray Davis and Wayne Lyons. Honorary pallbearers will be Teddy Greenwell, James “Smitty” Smith, Greg Crowe, Jimmie Wiseman and Bob Tittle. Thanks to nurses Oliver and Brittany on floor 4300 of Johnson City Medical Center. The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until the service hour at 1 p.m., prior to the service. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website, www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
