Freida June Turbyfield of Elizabethton passed away after a lengthy illness on Thursday, September 14, 2023, at Hermitage Nursing Home.
She was the daughter of the late Millard Otis Fair and Ella Mae Fair Campbell. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol Cowan and Gail Buffington.
June was a member of Central Community Christian Church and retired from Texas Instruments.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Bill) Johnson; her son, Tom (Terry) Turbyfield; her grandson, Brady (Beata) Johnson; three granddaughters, Brittany (David) Jones, Allison (Christian) Glover and Alayna (Jesse) Carr; and two great-grandsons, Levi and Benjamin Jones. She is also survived by two nieces, Kimberly Withka and Angela Brett.

A graveside service for the family to honor June will take place at Happy Valley Memorial Park on Saturday, September 30, at 11 a.m.
