Rona Eugenia Turbyfill, 71, Elizabethton, passed away Sunday, August 20, 2023, at Johnson City Medical Center after an extended illness.
A native of Carter County, she was a daughter of the late Conley Franklin Sr. and Elvina Wright Franklin.
Rona loved her family and her pets.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Dean Turbyfill, and several brothers and sisters.
Survivors include her sons, Joshua (Samantha) Turbyfill and Eddie Dean Turbyfill; three grandchildren, Logan Rasnake, Bella Turbyfill and Jackson Killion; two sisters, Sandra Grindstaff and Jackie Martin; and one brother, Danny (Kristi) Martin.
A graveside service will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, August 25, at Happy Valley Memorial Park. Interment will follow the service. Pallbearers will be selected from family and friends. The family will receive friends from 1 until 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home, prior to the graveside service. Condolences may be sent to the family at our website, www.memorialfcelizabethton.com.
