Carson Peters and Iron Mountain has quickly become one of the most energetic and hottest bluegrass bands in the business, making numerous trips to the Grand Ole Opry and multiple international appearances. Their traditional bluegrass style and a cappella arrangements are a refreshing reminder that the bluegrass of old is alive and well.
The band is made up of Carson and Jamie Peters, a father and son duo from Piney Flats, who have roots in Carter County, along with another father and son duo in Ben and Eric Marshall from Mount Airy, N.C., Austin Tate from Marion, Va., and James McDowell from Hendersonville, N.C.
According to their website “the boys give God all the glory for allowing them to accomplish what they have, and trust his plan to guide them through the future.”
Evening Breeze Arena is located at 239 C Grindstaff Road in the Siam Community.
