Mark Edward Berry, 53, Hampton, passed away Monday, June 19, 2023, at his residence.
A lifelong resident of Carter County, he was born August 22, 1969.
Mark was a 1987 graduate of Hampton High School. He was a former plant worker, having worked at NARC for a number of years. He loved watching sports, especially his Hampton Bulldogs, and Tennessee Vols Football was his favorite.
Mark was a lifetime member of the Ghost Rider M.C., having been a member of the Mother Chapter for 25 years.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Eunice Tolley Berry, who passed away February 22, 2012.
Survivors include his father, Rev. Henry Berry; one sister, Angie Berry Graham; one nephew, Draven Graham; several aunts, uncles and cousins including a special cousin, Michael Scalf; and his Orange Tabby “Molly.”
Funeral services will be conducted at 7 p.m. Monday, June 28, at Memorial Funeral Chapel with the Rev. John L. Stockton and the Rev. Bobby Campbell officiating. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Ghost Rider, M.C. The family would like to express a very special thank you to everyone who has reached out to the family with their support and prayers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 5 to 7 p.m. Monday, prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
