WCSO charges Limestone man with DUI, child endangerment

JONESBOROUGH – Washington County Sheriff’s Deputies arrested Samuel B. Milhorn, 42, of Limestone, on driving under the influence and child endangerment early Monday morning.
According to Sheriff Keith Sexton, deputies conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle traveling on Highway 81 North in the Fall Branch area. The vehicle was observed traveling erratically and was having trouble maintaining lane control. Upon stopping the vehicle, contact was made with the driver, Milhorn. Deputies also discovered that Milhorn’s young child, who was under the age of 8, was also in the vehicle.
Upon further investigation, Milhorn was observed by deputies to be under the influence of alcohol and was taken into custody. Milhorn was charged with driving under the influence, child endangerment and violation of implied consent.
He is being held at the Washington County Detention Center on a $2,000 bond and is scheduled to appear in court on 1:30 p.m., June 5. The juvenile was unharmed in this incident and was turned over to a family member.
