Members of family-owned Broyles Masonry of Jonesborough were hard at work Thursday, repairing and replacing damaged bricks and doing tuck point work at the historic Bonnie Kate Theater on South Sycamore Street in downtown Elizabethton.
Working on the project are Scott Sizemore, Bill Broyles, and his sons Lee Broyles and James Broyles.
The project is one of many outdoor improvements that are ongoing this summer – a preview of many more changes to come including a complete transformation of the interior theater auditorium space which is set to begin early this fall.
