This Saturday’s Covered Bridge Jams Concert will feature the group Dan Herrell & The Troubadours. Dan Herrell played for the theaters in Dollywood for seven years. He was on tour as an opening act for Sawyer Brown for three years. The bass player, Tommy Starns, played many years for The Benny Wilson Band and used to be the bass player for the Statler Brothers. They have all pro players and their drummer moved to Knoxville after many years of playing in Nashville. This incredibly talented group of musicians and singers will be in concert playing all your country favorites.
Elizabethton Parks and Recreation is proud to bring you this free concert series along with our sponsors: Northeast Community Credit Union, Elizabethton Chamber of Commerce, Carter County Tourism, Elizabethton Star and WBEJ Radio.
“Come on down to Covered Bridge Park Saturday at 7 p.m. Bring your lawn chair, sit back, and enjoy some great music!” stated Recreation Manager David Nanney.
