Area high school students graduate from Northeast State

Northeast State hosted a graduation reception on Sunday at the Blountville campus for 72 area high school dual enrollment students graduating on May 9 with an A.S. degree or Career Academy certificate.
Thirty-nine of the students will be completing an associate of science degree concurrently with their high school diplomas.
The remaining 33 students will be completing academic certificates in the following areas: Emergency Medical Technician Basic Certificate, 15; Emergency Medical Technician Advanced Certificate, 1; Heating, Ventilation, and Air-Conditioning, 1; Machine Tool Operations, 2; and Combination Welding, 16.
