The Carter County Democratic Women will meet Tuesday, April 25, at 6 p.m. at the Black Olive in Elizabethton.
The program will be on a type of government that was defeated in WWII – a war in which many Carter County young men died and fought in to preserve freedom and our way of life.
Group leaders will report on our government’s behaviors which may be indicative of a new age of fascism and the characteristics that mimic the principles of the Third Reich.
All Democrats are invited to come early and eat and then study some history that is becoming more and more pertinent in today’s events.
