Robert Glenn Pierce Jr., 72, of North Port, Fla. (formerly of Elizabethton), passed away on April 15, 2023, following a lengthy illness. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert Glenn Pierce Sr. and Bonnie Lyons Pierce.
Robert was a 1969 graduate of Elizabethton High School.
He is survived by wife, Patty; children, Brandy Pierce-Phelps (Stan), Bradley Glenn Pierce (Krista), and Bridget Pierce (fiancé Michiah); sister, Joyce Pierce Parris (Roger); eight grandchildren, Collin Pierce, Jacob Pierce, Ava Pierce, Blair Pierce, Meleah McCutcheon, Rylan Pierce-James, Noah Pierce-James, and Lyric McCutcheon; two step-grandchildren, Taylor Bracken and Samantha Boudreaux; and one niece, Glenda Medley.
A memorial service and celebration of life will be held at Southside Christian Church on May 6 at 2 p.m.
