Daniel Basil Buckles, 44, of Elizabethton, Tenn., passed away on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at his home. Daniel was born in Elizabethton to the late Carl Shoun Buckles and Darlene Virginia Lowe Buckles. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Roger Buckles and Anthony Buckles.
Daniel was a very special man. He enjoyed his stuffed animals and tea pots. He had a very kind and loving soul and was loved by his family, who will dearly miss him. He enjoyed singing with his niece and listening to music on the radio.
Those left to cherish Daniel’s memory include his sister, Tina (Lester) Rutter of Elizabethton; his niece, Tracy (Steve) Phillips of Elizabethton; three aunts, Connie Tester and Grace Campbell, both of Elizabethton, and Carless Richardson of Kentucky; an uncle, Kenneth (Jewel) Lowe of Elizabethton; a great-uncle, Jimmy Buckles of Elizabethton; a nephew, Zach Buckles of Poga; and a niece, Taylor Brook (Corey) Pierce of Elizabethton.
