Lady Bulldogs drop conference game to Huskies

GREENEVILLE – The Hampton Lady Bulldogs traveled to Greeneville on Tuesday night to face conference foe North Greene Huskies. At the top of the first, the Lady Bulldogs would leave Mallory Lamb stranded after her two-out single. All-State pitcher, Cambell Gaby of North Greene would strike out three batters in the first and not allow Hampton another hit the rest of the game. The Lady Huskies would score five runs off five hits in the bottom of the first off Lady Bulldogs starting pitcher Briley Davis leading them to an 11-0 conference win.

Lamb would lead the Lady Bulldogs going 1-2 at the plate and Gaby would lead the Huskies, going 2-3 with two doubles. Davis would take the loss for Hampton and Gaby would pick up the win for North Greene.

The Lady Bulldogs will host Cloudland on Friday at 5 pm.
